Singapore’s first giant panda cub named Le Le
The little one will greet visitors from his nursery at the Giant Panda Forest at River Wonders at 10.30am and 3.30pm for between 20 - 30 mins each time from Dec 30.
The first Giant Panda born in Singapore has been named Le Le.
The offspring of Kai Kai and Jia Jia’s name was chosen after a public voting which ran from Nov 3 to Nov 7.
The name Le Le was voted for 31,000 times out of 64,000 total votes, said Mandai Wildlife Reserves.
Le Le will also start greeting visitors of River Wonders from his nursery starting from Thursday (Dec 30). He will do so twice a day at 10.30am and 3.30pm, for 20 to 30 minutes each time.

Mandai Wildlife Reserve also announced in a Facebook post that they will be holding a Facebook live at 9.40am on Thursday to unveil Le Le’s nursery to the public.
