Singaporean households to receive $300 worth of CDC vouchers on Jan 3
Eligible Singaporeans will also receive U-Save and Service and Conservancy Charges rebates as part of the GST voucher scheme and Assurance Package for GST.
Every Singaporean household will receive a total of $300 Community Development Council (CDC) Vouchers on Jan 3, under the Assurance Package (AP) for GST. These vouchers can be used at participating merchants, hawkers, and supermarkets.
Additionally, around 950,000 Singaporean households living in HDB flats will receive U-Save and Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC) rebates under the permanent goods and services voucher (GSTV) scheme in January 2023.
In the fiscal year of 2022, eligible households will receive double their regular U-Save rebates. Households with no Singapore citizen flat owner or occupier in the flat, or whose members own more than one property are not eligible for U-Save.
Eligible households will also receive S&CC rebates to offset between 1.5 to 3.5 months of their S&CC each year. Households with no Singapore citizen flat owner or occupier in the flat, or whose flat owner(s) or essential occupier(s) own or hold any interest in a private property or have rented out the entire flat are not eligible for these rebates.
Rebates are calculated according to the type of flat owned, including 1- to 5-room flats and executive or multi-generational flats. A full table of the rebates received is available on the GSTV scheme website.
In February 2023, eligible Singaporeans aged 20 years and below and 55 years and above will also receive $150 in their CPF MediSave Account under the AP MediSave.
