Twenty-seven players have been called up by head coach Stephen Ng to the Singapore women’s national football team for the upcoming ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Women’s Championship.

The tournament will be held in Manila, Philippines, from Jul 4 to Jul 17. The Lionesses have been handed a tough draw in Group A alongside Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup representatives Philippines, Thailand and Australia.

Among the 27 players, 10 represent Lion City Sailors at club level, with four from Still Aerion Women’s, two from Balestier Khalsa, Albirex Niigata and Tanjong Pagar United.
