Singapore to face Thailand, Vietnam in AFF U23 Championship 2022
The AFF U23 Championship will be held from Feb 14 to Feb 26.
Singapore has been drawn into the Group C of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U23 Championship 22, alongside Thailand and Vietnam.
The tournament, which will run from Feb 14 to Feb 26 next year, will be hosted by Cambodia. Matches will be played at the Morodok Techno Stadium and Prince Stadium in Phnom Penh.
Both Thailand and Vietnam are the highest-ranked nations in Southeast Asia. Vietnam are currently 98th in the FIFA rankings, while Thailand are 115th.
Thailand also finished runners-up in the last edition in 2019, losing to Indonesia in the final, while Vietnam came in third. Singapore did not take part in 2019.

Host Cambodia, Timor Leste, Philippines and Brunei Darussalam were drawn into Group A, while defending champions Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and Laos were drawn into Group B.
