Singapore Sports Hub to light up in celebration of Hari Raya
There will also be workshops, games and local food available during the Apr 29 to May 1 long weekend.
The National Stadium’s roof will be lit up from 7.30pm to 10pm on Apr 22 in celebration of Hari Raya. The special light display will highlight Singapore’s change from early kampong days to a modern city.

Over the following long weekend from Apr 29 to May 1, the Relive the Kampung Spirit event will run at the Sports Hub between 11am and 9pm daily.
It will include cultural showcases of traditional Malay dances and dikir barat (a style of Malay choral singing popular in Singapore and Malaysia). The performances will also feature members of the Singapore Silat Federation.
There will also be live music performances by local bands such as One Metre Apart (O.M.A), who were Anugerah 2021 champions.

The event will also feature interactive family games such as the Sepak Takraw Pong challenge (a combination of Sepak Takraw and pong) and Bagedil Dash (racing with a bagedil float in tow).
Participants can look forward to a ketupat plushie making workshop where they can learn the significance of the dish.
Aside from the performances and games, there will be venue tours of the Sports Hub, which will include the Water Sports Centre, Stadium Roar, 100PLUS promenade, Sports Hub Library, Singapore Indoor Stadium and Singapore Sports Museum.
The venue tour will be available all weekend at three timeslots, from 11am to 1pm, 1pm to 3pm and 3pm to 5pm. Those interested in the tour can register on-site and are encouraged to wear sports attire.
On May 1, families dressed up in their baju kurungs also stand a chance to win Kallang Wave Mall vouchers worth $250.
