Singapore Pro Wrestling to return with first physical event after two years on May 27
The event will feature The Statement Andruew Tang as well as Singapore Champion Da Butcherman.
Singapore Pro Wrestling (SPW) is set to host its first physical event for the public after a two-year hiatus, announced the local wrestling promotion on Thursday (May 12).
The event, titled Homecoming, will take place at the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Association on May 27.
In its main event, high-flyer Aiden Rex will challenge reigning SPW Southeast Asian (SEA) Champion The Statement Andruew Tang for the championship.
Additionally, Singapore Champion Da Butcherman will confront ring announcer Mr Frois after publicly calling him out multiple times.
The SPW SEA Tag Team champions Alexis Lee and Nyc are also set to defend their championships against unannounced Thai challengers from SETUP Thailand Pro Wrestling.
This event marks the first time in two years in which the public are able to catch SPW’s matches physically.
SPW had previously hosted three private physical shows in April to give back to the migrant workers in Singapore. These events were not open to the public and were live-streamed on SPW’s Facebook page instead.
Ringside tickets for Homecoming will cost $60 while the premium and general tickets are priced at $45 and $30 respectively.
Fans who are interested can purchase the tickets here.
