From Dec 20, Singapore citizens will be allowed to enter Malaysia and vice versa via the land Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), announced the Ministry of Trade and Industry in a press release on Dec 14.

Singapore’s first land VTL with Malaysia was launched last month

Previously, only citizens, permanent residents and long-term pass holders of the country they were entering were able to travel via the VTL.

All travellers entering Singapore will still have to abide by the prevailing test protocols and safe management measures, including the post-arrival seven-day COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test regime. There will be no change to the existing test protocols.

More information on the Singapore-Malaysia Land VTL can be found here.
