All funds raised from 'Singapore Keycaps for Singapore Specials' will be donated to Save Our Street Dogs.
In an effort to raise funds for a local non-profit animal shelter, local artisan Missylo decided to team up with 10 Singapore artisans, vendors and keyboard enthusiasts to run a fundraising event called Singapore Keycaps for Singapore Specials.
All nett profits from this fundraiser will be donated to Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD), a local non-profit animal shelter that focuses on rescuing Singapore street dogs, also referred to as Singapore Specials.
“I thought it a fitting way to honor a non-profit through selling Singapore-based keycaps for Singapore Specials in time for National Day!” said Missylo.
SOSD has also expressed their thanks to the team behind this fundraiser on their official Facebook page.
There will be two events to support this cause.
The first will be a keycap sale and giveaway from Jul 12-14, starting on Jul 12, 8pm.
Each keycap set is priced at $39, inclusive of shipping, and made up of three SG GMK novelties. As stocks are limited, these sets will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Many local vendors and enthusiasts have also come together to donate prizes for giveaways, such as a sixty percent Rose Quartz Wristrest and a Silver GMMK Pro. These items will be released over the next few days.
The second event will be a blind auction of special keycaps crafted by our very own local artisans from Jul 23-24, featuring works from 404artisans, Artzeikaps, cantoclicks, dalifu.caps, Fuzzycaps, jankycaps, Jusherhoe, Klaykaps, okeydokey studio and PanicKeys.
More information about this auction will be posted on Jul 23, so keep a lookout on Missylo’s Instagram.
