Those aged 13 to 18 can sign up to learn about literary programming through Sing Lit Station’s Idea Incubation Sessions from now till Jul 2.

The sessions are organised in collaboration with Singapore Writers Festival – an annual event organised by Arts House Limited and presents world’s major literary talents to Singaporeans while spotlighting home grown and Southeast Asian creative talents.

The Idea Incubation Sessions will allow youths to conceptualise literacy programmes for Singapore Writers Festival’s Youth Fringe programme line-up.

During these sessions, students will learn about curation and running a programme, as well as have an opportunity to receive feedback for their ideas and develop them alongside other students.

Last year’s edition of Singapore Writers Festival’s Youth Fringe programme saw the curation of discussion programmes such as Cinderella or Tinderella? – The Evolution of Dating. The programme had three authors lament the woes of dating expectations and compare the differences of finding a date 100 years ago.

Those interested can sign up for the sessions through the application form or through the link found on the Instagram page.

Shortlisted students will be invited to the sessions that will take place on an online platform called Gather Town. The sessions are held every Sunday between 10am to 12pm, from Jun 18 to Jul 2.
