Show your love for Kimchi and win up to $500 worth of Korean mart vouchers with ‘Say Kimchi Festival’ contest
The festival hopes to serve as an opportunity to enjoy the intangible cultural assets of two nations and feed the connectivity within a global community.
Kimchi lovers who absolutely can’t go a meal without a dish of the fermented vegetables, this online contest is for you.
Following the success of last year’s K-Food Online Festival, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea has launched a social media contest, Say Kimchi Festival, in Singapore from May 11 to May 31.
About $3,000 worth of Korean mart vouchers are up for grabs.
Participants will have to follow @KfoodSGunited on Instagram and Facebook, and share an original photo or video of their experience with Kimchi on your public accounts with the hashtags #KoreanKimchi, #KfoodSGunited, and #SayKimchiFestival.
Winners will be determined by how creative their submission is, along with its fun-factor and originality.
There are 14 prizes up for grabs – one set of $500 Korean Mart vouchers, two sets of $300 Korean Mart vouchers and four sets of $100 Korean Mart vouchers each in the photo and video category.
Mr. Ahn Young-jip, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Singapore, said: “I sincerely hope that everyone can come together safely and have an enjoyable time taking photos and videos of their fun experiences with Korean Kimchi. I am truly grateful to Singaporeans for their love of Kimchi and other Korean food. We will continue to walk together on this journey to combat the on-going pandemic.”
