Shilin Singapore goes digital this year, will feature over 100 stalls
Shilin Singapore will be held over two weekends in June and you can enjoy it from home!
Popular night market Shilin Singapore returns this year, with the festival taking place over two weekends in June.
But instead of a physical festival, Shilin will go digital this year to overcome the stay-home limitations because of COVID-19.
The festival will run from 3pm to 11pm on Jun 12, and 12pm to 11pm on Jun 13 to 14 and Jun 19 to 21.
Close to 100 local and regional digital pop-up stores from local businesses to artisans embodying creative Asian flair and flavour of the food and beverage, retail and entertainment industries will be featured.

Festival-goers can enjoy four online zones – Eat, Shop, Play and Fun – offering captivating performances, engaging virtual hangouts, and live streams of products and delicious foods.
The ‘Eat’ zone offers a plethora of traditional, creative Asian flavours. It combines the best Taiwanese flavours, local favourites and trending fusion dishes, all cooked-to-order. Vendors will also offer Shilin Singapore-exclusive menu items and display their signature dishes on live streams, including cooking shows.
Customers can tuck into yummy bowls of luxurious truffle lu rou fan from D’bun, or snack on Taiwanese pastries from Chia Te Bakery and Yu Jan Shin fulfilled by iCarry, paired with refreshing teas by Playmade.
All local F&B orders will be done via Pickupp’s mobile application or e-commerce platform.
Splurge on yourself or your loved ones at the ‘Shop’ area!
The festival merges the power of online shopping with real-time auction-style live streams. Customers will be directed to Shopee’s e-commerce platform or mobile application for all local retail orders.
Buy souvenirs of famed brands or handcrafted artisanal wares from various vendors.
And Scent by Six; a homegrown artisanal perfume label, will be selling special Care Packs including a hand sanitiser, effervescent Vitamin C as well as face masks. All Care Pack proceeds will be donated to The Courage Fund, a relief scheme, to help those struggling with caregiving duties and obtaining essential items during this pandemic.

Hosted by GOMO by Singtel, the ‘Play’ area offers various digital games. Stand a chance to win prizes by participating in social media challenges and tasks.
In the ‘Fun’ segment, the virtual festival will feature host Lee Teng, and performances from local bands and singers such as Cha Ban Sheng (插班生), Nat Wu, Yokez, Marcus Lee and Jay – CIRCO.
Taiwanese singer Caryson Huang (黃譽韶) will perform a special set at 7pm daily from 12 to 14 June.
