Seven K-pop comebacks you can look forward to in October
From NCT's long awaited OT21 comeback to BLACKPINK's first full album, K-pop fans are in for a treat this October!
K-pop fans where you at? Hold on tight as October will be a month full of exciting comebacks!
From BLACKPINK’s stunning visuals to Super Junior Kyuhyun’s sweet melodic vocals, there’s plenty to look forward to.
Here are seven K-pop comebacks you can anticipate in October:
1. BLACKPINK – THE ALBUM

Global sensation K-pop girl group, BLACKPINK, is finally releasing their first full album THE ALBUM. With their title track Lovesick Girls, the album will be released on Oct 2 at 12pm Singapore time. Watch the concept teaser video here.

The album consists of eight songs namely, How You Like That, Ice Cream featuring Selena Gomez, Pretty Savage, Bet You Wanna featuring Cardi B, Lovesick Girls, Crazy Over You, Love To Hate Me and You Never Know. Album pre-orders are now available on Amazon at $31.07 each, inclusive of shipping fees.
2. SF9 – SPECIAL HISTORY BOOK

As part of their fourth anniversary, the nine member boy group, SF9 will be releasing a special history book. The title track for this album is Shine Together and it will be released on Oct 5 at 5pm Singapore time. Visit their Instagram for more details on the comeback.
3. Golden Child – Pump It Up

Golden Child is returning on Oct 7 with their second single Pump It Up. Two concept teasers, A version and B version were released just yesterday. Click here to watch them if you haven’t. The album will consist of three songs, including the title track Pump It Up, which members Jangjun and Tag participated in co-writing the lyrics.

4. Super Junior – PROJECT: Season

Super Junior member Kyuhyun will be making his return on Oct 8. This is his first comeback as a solo artist after he dropped his single The Day We Meet Again in May last year. He will be releasing a new song at 5pm Singapore time as part of his PROJECT : 季 (PROJECT: Season). Actor Yoo Yeon Seok from hit dramas like Reply 1994 and Hospital Playlist will also be featured in the cinematic MV. What a feast for the eyes!
5. WEKI MEKI – NEW RULES

The eight member girl group will make their comeback on Oct 8 at 5pm Singapore time with their fourth mini album NEW RULES. There are two album versions, the Break version and the Take version. The covers of both versions have the same design but come in two colours, purple and yellow. Each version’s concept is different as well, so expect a different photo book, photocard, tag card and poster.

6. NCT 2020 : RESONANCE PT 1

The hype for NCT 2020 is no joke, this might just be the most exciting comeback of the year!
NCT 2020 : RESONANCE will continue where NCT 2018 : EMPATHY left off – it will be about creating a powerful synergy and great impacts while connecting with others through music.

PT 1 will be released on Oct 12 comprising 12 songs, inclusive of the double title tracks Make A Wish and From Home. PT 2 is said to be released sometime in November this year.
The 23 members will be split into four smaller collaborative units to allow each member’s unique talent and musical style to shine as well. Make sure you pre-order a copy of the album before it’s too late!
7. TXT – Minisode 1: Blue Hour

Represented by BigHit Entertainment, the entertainment company of worldwide sensation BTS, TXT will be making their comeback on Oct 26 at 5pm Singapore time.
The five member boy group are releasing their third mini album titled Minisode 1: Blue hour. Their teaser showcases the group’s logo accompanied by old school video games and sound effects.
