Sentosa opens lifestyle and entertainment precinct; houses 3 new beach clubs
The Palawan will also offer Singapore’s first gamified electric go-kart circuit.
Visitors to Sentosa can now look forward to a new entertainment precinct and three new beach clubs on the island.
The Palawan @ Sentosa, opened to the public on Wednesday (Jul 26), is touted to be the first standalone lifestyle and entertainment precinct by the Shangri-La Group.
The 183,000 sq ft destination features eight distinct experiences with various leisure activities for visitors of all ages. Among the featured activities are HyperDrive, an electric go-kart circuit, and UltraGolf, an 18-hole mini golf course.

The Palawan has also unveiled two new beach clubs – Splash Tribe and +Twelve.
Splash Tribe, designed with families in mind, will feature a sandcastle-themed wet-play zone and an infinity pool. +Twelve will offer 12 cabanas, each with its private plunge pool and a main pool complete with a swim-up bar for relaxation.
The Palawan Food Trucks will offer a beach-side dining experience, with ten food trucks serving a selection of food and reimagined classics from diverse cuisines. Visitors can also anticipate the opening of Blu Kouzina @ Palawan Beach, a Mediterranean seafood restaurant.
A third beach club, the Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club, is set to open its doors from Sep 1.
The expansive 19,000 sq ft venue by the Tipsy Collective hospitality group will boast a 500-seat capacity venue with indoor and outdoor areas. These areas will offer private cabanas, daybeds and VIP lounges.
The main pool will showcase a meticulously crafted stage that will connect to the sunken pool cabanas. There, guests can enjoy a range of beverages while being greeted by an ocean view in the main bar area.
Convertible event spaces will also be available to accommodate a range of event needs such as social celebrations, live performances and corporate events.
As part of its entertainment lineup, the Tipsy Collective will also feature live bands complete with art staging, lighting and sound systems.

Additionally, guests can indulge in stylish bottle presentations and enjoy a dedicated games area hosted by Tipsy’s Angels.
The hospitality group has also teamed up with sports brand PUMA for its inaugural shop-in-shop concept in Sentosa. The store will offer sports, fashion, beach apparels, and merchandise.
Last September, Sentosa introduced the Central Beach Bazaar, showcasing an 80m tall Sentosa SkyJet and an international food street that houses eight F&B concepts.
It is slated to unveil the Raffles Sentosa Resort & Spa, an all-villa resort, in late 2023.
