‘Secret location’ pop-up party series Escape 56 to light up at Haw Par Villa
Haw Par Villa will come alive this Saturday.
Fancy a night of partying alongside mythological Chinese statues? Escape 56, a “secret location pop-up party series”, is holding one at Haw Par Villa on Apr 15 from 10pm to 3pm.
The sixth anniversary party of Escape 56 will offer a night of multi-genre music and lights and headlined by award-winning Spanish music producer John Talabot. It will also feature local DJs Sivanesh (Sivilian Affairs) and A’alely (Strange Weather) and “light installations for a multisensory experience” according to the organisers.
The Escape 56 Party series was established in collaboration with Blackout Agency and the German spirits brand Jägermeister as a part of their global #SaveTheNight campaign, aimed at preserving and furthering nightlife culture during and now, post pandemic.
The party will feature a raffle draw, with a limited-edition SOUNDBOKS x Jägermeister Bluetooth speaker worth $1,480 to be won.
The regular tickets were released in three waves, with the first released on Mar 22. The first two waves of tickets, priced at $38 and $48, have been sold out.
Student tickets (priced at $28) and tickets from the third wave ($68) are still available and can be bought online on Peatix. Regular tickets from the first, second and third release, come with one standard house pour Jäger Mini as well as a Redbull.
Those who have purchased the student priced tickets will not be provided drinks and must enter the venue before 10.30pm. Student identification will be checked upon arrival.
The organisers are also holding a giveaway on Instagram from now till Apr 12 and three selected winners will be invited to join in the party with a friend for free.
Participants must be 18 years or older and residing in Singapore in order to take part.
