Budget airline Scoot has partnered with The Pokémon Company (TPC) to launch The Pikachu Jet, which offers a series of Pokémon-themed flights from Sep 9 to Oct 19.

The Pikachu Jet is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which seats 340 economy passengers alongside 35 others in ScootPlus.

The interior and exterior of the planes are plastered with characters from the popular cartoon series such as Pikachu and Lapras.

As part of the jet’s in-flight experience, there will be Japanese-inspired meals and Pokémon-themed activities available on-board.

Fans can also purchase exclusive Pokémon-themed merchandise during flight bookings. These merchandise include lanyards, bucket hats and tote bags.

There will be a total of eight flights to and from Tokyo and Seoul, which are available for booking on Scoot’s website.

Scoot and TPC will soon host a joint event to unveil the aircraft and reveal more details about its in-flight experience.

Updates on The Pikachu Jet can be found on Scoot’s website and social media platforms
