Admit it, there are questions that you have always wanted to ask your friends of the opposite sex. You have probably wondered what goes on in their head or why they act a certain way, so we decided to help you with your unasked questions.

Our writers, Chris and Praise, answer your burning questions!

The girls ask Chris

MEET CHRISTOPHER.

What kind of girls do guys like?

We’re not after the hot super model we follow on Instagram. On a deeper level, we generally like someone whom we can be our complete idiotic selves with.

Is it possible for a guy to be interested in two girls at the same time? Why? (E.g. Having a girlfriend and flirting with another attractive girl)

No. We’re generally wired to be interested in one girl at one time. I don’t think it’s possible for any (decent) guy to feel conflicted with who he wants to be with when he has a girlfriend already.

Yes, we do look at girls from time to time but that’s just on a superficial level. But no, we don’t think of leaving you for her and running off into the sunset together on a horse. We know we want to be with you.

Why do guys go after damsels in distress who go: "save me, save me"?

Well, we like to feel needed. Like we’re your ‘man of steel’ of some sort. We don’t know why we have to be that way but I guess it’s a male instinct to be a ‘protector’ and offer our strength.

How do guys behave in front of a girl they like?

We really try our best to impress. We may overdo it sometimes and make a fool of ourselves but it’s actually really obvious to tell if a guy has a thing for you, because we constantly need to express it.

What's the best way to let a guy know you're upset?

It’s this sacred ritual that you have to do:

Tell us.

Guys barely recognise hints, let alone read minds. Most of the time, we’re really oblivious. Sometimes you try to make obvious hints, and we get it, but we’d rather you just simply tell us. We might not be able to solve ALL your problems but we’re more than happy to hear you out.

IT APPLIES TOO WHEN YOU’RE UPSET WITH US. LIKE I SAID, WE’RE OBLIVIOUS BUT MOST OF US DON’T MEAN HARM. PHOTO CREDIT: MAKEAGIF.COM

The boys ask Praise:

MEET PRAISE.

How do girls feel on their periods? How do we make a girl feel better when she's having her period?

It depends. On good days, we go from feeling irritable, insecure and jealous (all at once) to bawling over nothing. On bad days, we feel stabbed in the stomach with a knife.

Well, she just needs to know you care, and although it won’t change how she’s feeling, having you around will make a huge difference to her.

Why do girls always fall for the bad boys?

Well, besides the fact that they are usually really charming, we like them because getting them to change their casanova ways and commit to someone makes the girl feel accomplished and extra special.

Why do girls play the hot and cold game?

It might not make sense, but this is about being hard-to-get. We want to express our interest, but not go overboard with our flirting and seem overtly easy. As much as guys enjoy chasing a girl, we girls enjoy being chased too!

However, if she suddenly withdraws, or becomes really cold towards you, chances are, you’ve done something to make her feel upset or unimportant to you. The only way to get her smiling, relaxed, and flirty again is to show you care for her and only her.

What kind of guys do girls like?

Someone who is charming and makes us feel special and cherished all the time. Honestly, that’s all a girl needs.

So, how do girls behave in front of a guy they like?

It’s always rather obvious, because we laugh and smile a lot. Our goal is to be as smiley and charming as we can. We also make a lot of eye contact, and are generous with our glances. We’re pretty bad at hiding our feelings too.
