Get ready for life after COVID-19 with career resources and networking sessions tailored for youths.
Here’s another event you can attend from the comfort of your room while preparing yourself for the job market in the new normal.
Powered by the National Youth Council, LIT DISCOvery 2020 is a virtual symposium packed with workshops and networking sessions, offering youths platforms to learn new skills and get updated on industry trends.
Happening on Jun 10 from 12pm to 9.30pm, you can tune in to panel sessions from industry leaders on what you should expect in the post-COVID world, or join online workshops about making your online brand job-search ready and how to impress your potential employers virtually.
If you only have time to pop by for a quick look, there are several events happening all day long. Get your resume reviewed by HR professionals and coaches, or take a ‘Career Ready Quiz’ to find out if you are truly ready for the new job market.
While some of these events are exclusive for NTUC members, there are plenty of free events for the public, such as networking sessions with social recruiting and employer branding platform, Wantedly Singapore, recruiting portal, Grad Singapore and NTUC’s Employment and Employability Institute, e2i. These sessions will run from 2.30pm to 6pm.
The future may be uncertain at the moment, but we can get one step ahead by discovering our strengths, weaknesses, and career values before diving into the job search process.
