Pokémon GO Safari Zone to be held from Nov 18 to 20; tickets now on sale
Beyond the main event at Gardens by the Bay, those with a Pokémon GO Safari Zone event ticket will also have access to exclusive Pokémon Air Adventures gameplay.
Think you can be the very best? Aspiring Pokémon trainers can now purchase their tickets for Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore.
Held at Gardens by the Bay from Nov 18 to 20, players can expect to catch a myriad of Pokémon including Maractus which is usually only found in Central and South American regions. They will also encounter Pokémon themed around Pokémon Air Adventures, such as Flying Pikachu and Lapras.
The Pokémon GO event is part of a special Pikachu Weekend by The Pokémon Company, which follows the launch of Pokémon Air Adventures.
Ticket-holding players can also look forward to special features in the event space.
There will be four additional Special Trades that can be made during the event for a maximum of five for the day, and Trades made during the event will require 50 per cent less Stardust.
Players can also expect a short event-exclusive Special Research story and an event-themed Field Research to be available. They may also encounter a Pikachu wearing a safari hat by completing some of them.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for eight hours. Lure Modules activated during the event will last for four hours. Buddy Pokémon will have an increased chance of finding Souvenirs, including an exclusive paper airplane Souvenir.
For the first time in Pokémon GO, lucky ticket-holders will also be able to encounter Shiny Purrloin.

Running alongside the Safari Zone event will also be the islandwide Pokémon Air Adventures event. Open to all players, pokémon in this event will appear more frequently islandwide from Nov 11 to 20.
Mega Latias and Mega Latios will appear in Mega Raids, Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently in balloons and confetti will appear on the map.
Pokémon Air Adventures stickers will also be available globally from Nov 11, 8am, to Nov 20, 8pm. Players can collect them by spinning PokéStops or opening Gifts. They can also complete free Timed Research for a chance to encounter Purrloin.
Those who have purchased tickets for the Pokémon GO Safari Zone event will also have access to exclusive Pokémon Air Adventures gameplay.

General Admission tickets to the Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore are at $17 and will grant access to gameplay within the event space at Gardens by the Bay from 12pm to 6pm on the buyer’s preferred day. Early Access tickets run for $25, where players can start their adventures at 10am instead.
Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Singapore attendees may only purchase tickets for one day of the three-day event.
