Taiwanese bubble tea joint Playmade is collaborating with local brand JJ Drinks for a limited run of herbal-infused milk tea.

The JiaJia Milk Tea and liang-teh infused JiaJia Boba pearls will be sold at all Playmade outlets till mid-February this year.

Having made its mark locally since 2017, Playmade prides on making their pearls by hand in-store and the use of natural ingredients in their concoctions.

Traditional drinks importer JJ Drinks is no stranger to the local scene – they are best known in the region for their Jia Jia Herbal Tea.

Each cup of Jia Jia Milk tea, excluding toppings, is being sold at $4.20 for medium and $5.80 for large. The Jia Jia Boba is available as a topping at $1.20 for medium-size and $1.80 for large-size.

Aside from purchasing in stores, bubble tea fans can look to the ongoing giveaway contest on Playmade’s Facebook and Instagram to obtain not only the Boba Tea, but an exclusive Jia Jia hamper containing eight cartons of Jia Jia Herbal Tea as well.

Those interested can enter by liking or following both brands’ social media accounts and write a post tagging friends on why he/she should win the contest.

The contest ends this Sunday (Jan 16) at 12pm, when eight winners will be selected and contacted directly the following day.
