Children’s edutainment firm The Pinkfong Company released a new song about Singapore on May 23 featuring its brand characters Pinkfong and Baby Shark.

Titled Sing, Sing, Singapore!, the new jingle follows the pair, accompanied by Singapore mascot Merli, as they visit Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa Island, Night Safari and dine at hawker centres.

Pinkfong and Baby Shark frequently appear on The Pinkfong Company’s YouTube channel, which has amassed 57.8 million subscribers to date. Most videos on its platform are short preschool songs incorporating colours, numbers and letters into rhymes and stories.

The South Korean company made international headlines back in 2016 for the music video version of its animal song Baby Shark, which its yellow shark also starred in.

The latest singalong, sponsored by the Singapore Tourism Board, is also part of The Pinkfong Company’s Songs & Stories for Children series on YouTube.
