The three presidential candidates – Mr Ng Kok Song, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and Mr Tan Kin Lian – will deliver their campaign messages through two Presidential Candidate Broadcasts on Aug 24 and 30.

The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) has allocated airtime across 19 television and radio channels for the broadcasts.

The broadcasts will be made in the four official languages over the free-to-air radio and television platforms.

The order of the radio and television broadcast is determined based on the alphabetical ordering of the names as reflected in the Electoral Roll.

For the first broadcast, Mr Ng Kok Song will go first, followed by Mr Shanmugaratnam Tharman and then Mr Tan Kin Lian. The order will then be reversed for the second broadcast.
