OWNDAYS is set to launch a new premium concept store at Takashimaya Shopping Centre on Friday (May 20), announced the Japanese eyewear company on Tuesday (May 17).

It will be the brand’s second premium concept store in the world, following its first opening in Marina Bay Sands in 2021.

The store will house eyewear and exclusive premium ophthalmic lenses which are only available in the premium concept stores.

There will be a grand opening from May 20 to 22 to commemorate the event.

The first 66 customers each day will be given free gifts. $100 digital gift vouchers will be given to the first 33 customers. Any customers after that up till the 66th customer can take home a pair of OWNDAYS sunglasses worth $78.

Customers must be an existing OWNDAYS member to be eligible for the giveaway. Additionally, they must follow the brand on Instagram and upload a tagged picture in-store. Those who are interested can register for a free membership on its website

The store follows the same theme of “Japanese Luxury” that was present in its first premium concept shop at Marina Bay Sands, drawing inspiration from Ryoanji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Kyoto, Japan.

As such, it features rock arrangements, gravel, moss and shrubs to attain the look of a Zen Garden.

“The new store is a space where we hope local consumers could enjoy a complete Japanese experience without having to physically travel to Japan,” said Také Umiyama, Managing Director/COO of OWNDAYS INC.

The store will be open daily from 10am to 9.30pm.
