Over 4,900 BTO flats in five estates launched by HDB for August 2021 sale
The Build-To-Order flats are spread out across five estates including Hougang, Jurong East and Tampines.
The Housing Development Board (HDB) launched a total of 4,989 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats for sale on Wednesday (Aug 11).
The flats are located across seven housing projects in Hougang, Jurong East, Kallang Whampoa, Queenstown and Tampines.
In Hougang, there are two new BTO projects offered at the launch.
Hougang Citrine, named after the warm, orange hues of the building’s exterior, comprises six residential blocks ranging from 12 to 13 storeys. There are 749 units of two-room Flexi, three-room, four-room and five-room flats available.
Kovan Wellspring, which is conveniently located next to Heartland Mall, features four residential blocks that range from 13 to 18 storeys high. There are 586 two-room Flexi, three-room and four-room units available. It is estimated to complete in the third quarter of 2026.
The starting prices for the flats in non-mature estates like Hougang range from $108,000 for a two-room Flexi to $392,000 for a five-room flat.
Queen’s Arc, which is bounded by Queen’s Crescent and Queensway Drive, features 610 units of three-room and four-room flats. They will be housed in two residential blocks that range from 23 to 39 storeys high.
It is the first time in nine years that new flats are being built in Queenstown.
Meanwhile, there are two new BTO projects offered in Tampines.
Tampines Quartz, which is bounded by Bedok Reservoir Road and Tampines Street 95 and 96, comprises 13 residential blocks that range from 10 to 17 storeys high. There are 1,613 units of two-room Flexi, three-room, four-room and five-room flats available.
In Tampines GreenJade, there are 546 units of four-room and five-room flats up for grabs. With Tampines Street 96 separating it from Bedok Reservoir Road, the area is close to several park connectors and Bedok Reservoir, offering residents a lush green environment to unwind in.
It comprises six residential blocks that range from 15 to 17 storeys high and is estimated to be completed in the third quarter of 2025.
All projects in Tampines come with a myriad of amenities with close proximity to shopping malls such as Tampines 1 and Century Square at the Tampines Regional Centre.
HDB has also launched new BTO flats in Jurong East for the first time in a decade.
Located along Toh Guan Road, Toh Guan Grove will comprise three residential blocks ranging from 10 to 37 storeys high. There are 569 units of two-room Flexi, three-room and four-room flats available. It is estimated to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
The starting prices for the flats at Toh Guan range from $121,000 for a two-room Flexi to $347,000 for a five-room flat.
In Kallang Whampoa, 316 units of three-room and four-room flats are available for grabs at Towner Residences. This development consists of two residential blocks that range from 25 to 40 storeys high.
Prices for the flats range from $336,000 for a three-room flat to $500,000 for a four-room flat. It is estimated to be completed in the last quarter of 2026.
Applications for the flats begin today and will close on Tuesday (Aug 17) at 11.59pm.
