One Punggol Hub to open in the second half of 2022, featuring rooftop barbeque pits and 700-seater hawker centre
A five-storey library will also be available at One Punggol Hub.
Integrated community centre One Punggol Hub will open in phases in the coming months, announced Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean on Tuesday (Jun 21).
In a Facebook post, Mr Teo said that One Punggol Hub will consist of facilities such as “a five-storey regional library, a 700-seater hawker centre and a community club”.
The hub is a five-minute walk from Punggol MRT Station and Waterway Point mall through Punggol Green, a new Linear Green Park.
Senior Minister of State Janil Puthucheary also shared a video of the facilities available in One Punggol Hub on Friday (Jun 17).
In the video, Dr Janil shared about the One Punggol Community Club which has an extensive range of facilities such as dance studios, culinary studios as well as basketball and futsal courts.
The rooftop community garden, located on level five of the hub, will offer residents daily fitness programmes as well as bird watching. There are eight barbeque pits on the roof for residents to enjoy with family and friends.
One Punggol Hub will be the third integrated community centre in Singapore, following Our Tampines@Hub and Heart@Bedok.
