One Holland Village Shops to be completed by third quarter of 2023
The open-air mall will include communal spaces and pet amenities.
Upcoming mall One Holland Village Shops is set to open in the third quarter of 2023 featuring an open-air concept and pet-friendly amenities.
Part of the One Holland Village development by Far East Organisation, the pet-friendly mall features leash hooks and pet drinking fountains and large outdoor areas will be incorporated to ensure good pet walkability. It will also have a dog run with natural obstacles for dogs to enjoy.
The mall features a centrally situated community space, Village Square, and open-air alfresco dining and play areas. Other spaces include Village Green, a pocket park where outdoor events such as markets and concerts can be held.
These common spaces will also display public art installations from local and international artists such as Ripple Root, Jahan Loh, Florence Ng and France-based Arik Levy. The public art programme began with a public furniture design competition in 2021.
The three-storey mall has already reached over 75 per cent expected occupancy, with 37 tenants having taken up shop there.
Shoppers can expect to see local brands such as Baker’s Brew’s Plain Meredith with its first pet-friendly cafe, Sourbombe Bakery by Masterchef Singapore runner-up Genevieve Lee and Lil’ Kinki by the popular Kinki Restaurant & Bar.
There are also familiar names such as Guardian Pharmacy, Guzman Y Gomez Mexican Kitchen and Cold Storage CS Fresh, which will include a pet treat bar.
Renowned Taiwanese toast store Fong Sheng Hao will set up its flagship store there, and Sushi Tei will open one of its largest outlets at the mall as well.
It will also have a dedicated Late Night Zone on the first level which allows selected brands to stay open beyond 9pm, subject to authorities’ approval and license.
