Thinking of spending the day at East Coast Park without commuting worries? RushOwl is providing a on-demand shuttle bus service from Bedok MRT to East Coast Park that started on Aug 21.
The local bus pooling company announced the ride would cost $2 and will operate on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays within three time slots, in the mornings (8am to 11am), afternoons (12pm to 2.30pm) and evenings (6pm to 9pm).
The 10-minute bus journey will include eight drop off points: Bedok MRT station exit A, East Coast Lagoon Food Village, East Coast Seafood Center, East Coast Cyclist Park, Carpark C4, Raintree Cove, Marine Cove and Parklane Green.
The RushOwl ECP on-demand bus (R50) will be a handy alternative to SBS Transit Bus Service 401, which was suspended in April 2020 due to circuit breaker measures.
To book a ride, passengers can download the RushTrail app which is available on iOS and Android mobile devices. Once a ride is booked, passengers will receive the live location and arrival time of the shuttle bus almost immediately.
