NTUC Fairprice to hold annual food donation drive this Ramadan from Apr 3 to May 2
NTUC is partnering with The Food Bank Singapore and Food from the Heart for this donation drive.
NTUC Fairprice is partnering with The Food Bank Singapore and Food from the Heart to organise a food donation drive this Ramadan, from Apr 3 to May 2.
The food items will be distributed to low income families, community pantries and be used for emergency food rations and daily meal programmes.
The Food Bank Singapore and Food from the Heart has consolidated a wish list on what they hope to receive from the donation drive.
Some items from The Food Bank Singapore’s wish list include halal spreads such as Nutella and Kaya, bee hoon and vermicelli, halal canned items, halal rolled oats and hot beverages.
As for Food from the Heart, some items in its wish list include rice (1kg or 2.5kg), cooking oil (500ml or 1L), canned fish or chicken, evaporated milk, canned soup and biscuits.
Different participating stores will be receiving donations on behalf of the two charities. You may check out the list of participating stores and the wish lists here.
