Northpoint City and Tampines Mall among four locations visited by COVID-19 cases
Shopping malls in Yishun and Tampines were visited on Nov 15 and Nov 21.
Northpoint City in Yishun and Tampines Mall were added to the list of places visited by COVID-19 cases while infectious by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Thursday (Nov 26).
Other locations visited by COVID-19 cases include Wisteria Mall at Yishun Ring Road as well as the Mr Prata restaurant in Tampines.
The details of the locations are as follows:
- Wisteria Mall at 598 Yishun Ring Road on Nov 14, between 7.15pm and 7.50pm
- Jinjja Chicken at Northpoint City on Nov 15, between 5.10pm and 5.50pm
- Seoul Garden restaurant at Tampines Mall on Nov 21, between 5.45pm and 8.55pm
- Mr Prata at Block 476 Tampines Street 44 on Nov 23, between 12.10pm and 12.45pm
The list is updated by MOH on a rolling 14-day basis, or one incubation period, and as epidemiological investigations progress.
If you were at any of the locations during the specified timings, you should monitor your health closely for 14 days from your date of visit as a precautionary measure, MOH advised.
Five new COVID-19 cases were reported on Thursday. Of these, four were imported, with one in the community – the first in Singapore in over two weeks.
The new community case is a 32-year-old Singaporean man who tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov 25, two days after developing a fever and sore throat. The case is currently unlinked.
