Nominees for National Youth Film Awards 2023 announced; awards ceremony at *SCAPE on Aug 31
60 films were selected out of 327 submissions.
Nominees for this year’s run of the National Youth Film Awards (NYFA) were announced on Saturday (Aug 14).
The awards are split into two categories – Student and Open Youth. Out of 327 submissions, 30 films were each shortlisted for both categories.
Across both categories, recipients are nominated for Best Short Film, Best Director, Best Sound Design, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography.
Additional categories include Best Lead Performance, Best Supporting Performance and Best Original Music.
The awards ceremony will be held at *SCAPE on Aug 31. The ceremony will be streamed live on *SCAPE’s Facebook page from 3pm.
