Nominations for Singapore Silent Heroes Award open till Jun 30

Five individuals will be recognised for making a difference in society without recognition or compensation.

Nominations for the annual Singapore Silent Heroes Award, which will recognise individuals for their tremendous contributions to society without receiving recognition or compensation, are now open till Jun 30. 

Organised by the Civilians Association Singapore, the award is open nation-wide and has four categories for Singaporeans or permanent residents and one for foreigners. Up to five individuals will receive the award this year.

Similar to the previous year, the categories in which nominees will be considered include Hearts of Humanity, Pioneers of Promise, Outstanding Adults, Inspiring Youth and Compassionate Foreigner.

After the nomination period, shortlisted candidates might be notified earlier and winners will be announced on the day of the awards ceremony.

Nominators should consider the full criteria for every category, which includes the physical ability of the individual, age and testimonials, before proceeding to nominate.

Nominations can only be submitted online and will require details like the full name, date of birth and contact details of the nominator and nominee.
