Nintendo to hold first Singaporean pop-up from Nov 17, features merchandise from popular games

The store will feature Nintendo merchandise that was previously only available for purchase in Japan.

Hey, listen – Nintendo’s first Southeast Asian pop-up will come to Singapore from Nov 17, 2023 to Jan 1, 2024. It will be held at Jewel Changi Airport, Level 04-220/221.

Visitors can expect to see merchandise from popular games like Super Mario, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and Pikmin.

Items previously only available at Nintendo TOKYO, Nintendo OSAKA, and Nintendo KYOTO stores will be brought to the pop-up for fans to enjoy.

For anyone who’s game, here are the details:

Product line-up

The line of products available will contain a range of items created specially for the pop-up.

Crossing over into franchise-specific territory is a line of original merchandise featuring motifs and characters from Animal Crossing.

Fans of Splatoon might have had an inkling that the series is next up, winning itself shelf space in its Turf War with other franchises.

Other iconic franchises that will make an appearance in the product line-up include The Legend of Zelda, Pikmin, and Super Mario.

Nintendo stickers

During the pop-up’s run, fans of the company’s games can also look forward to an account check-in campaign. Players with a Nintendo account who physically visit the venue at Jewel can collect special stickers, which will be issued randomly. 

The stickers feature a range of characters from all the franchises involved in the event. Stickers can be redeemed once a day.

Postcards

Shoppers looking to bring home a haul can anticipate six types of postcards designed for the Singaporean pop-up. Anyone who spends $80 and above in a single receipt will receive one postcard.

Pipe Around the World

Alongside the Nintendo pop-up, Mario fans can also look forward to Jewel Changi Airport and Super Mario’s collaboration campaign, Pipe Around the World
