Newton Food Centre, Bukit Panjang Plaza among four locations visited by COVID-19 cases
The latest additions to MOH's list include Hillion Mall and Northpoint City.
Newton Food Centre, Bukit Panjang Plaza and the FairPrice outlet in Hillion Mall were among four locations visited by COVID-19 cases during their infectious period.
Northpoint City was the other location added to the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) list of places visited by COVID-19 cases on Sunday (Aug 16).
It is not the first time that Bukit Panjang Plaza or the FairPrice outlet in Hillion Mall have been added onto the list. Both locations were visited twice each between Aug 4 and Aug 12.
The details for the locations are:
1. Bukit Panjang Plaza on Aug 4, 8.15pm to 9pm, and Aug 6, 6.30pm to 8.40pm
2. Northpoint City on Aug 7, 6pm to 8pm
3. Newton Food Centre on Aug 7, 10.30pm to 12.30am
4. FairPrice in Hillion Mall on Aug 12, 2pm to 2.30pm and 8pm to 8.30pm
The list is updated by MOH on a rolling 14-day basis, or one incubation period, and as epidemiological investigations progress.
If you were at any of the locations during the specified timings, you should monitor their health closely for 14 days from your date of visit as a precautionary measure, MOH advised.
“They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history,” the ministry added.
There were two community cases among the 432 new COVID-19 cases reported in Singapore on Sunday.
The number of new cases in the community has remained stable at an average of two cases per day in the past two weeks, said MOH.
