New matcha cafe KYŌ Kohee opens at Tanjong Pagar
Matcha, coffee, tea, and more!
Amidst the bustling CBD, is quaint cafe KYŌ Kohee which recently opened on Mar 7.
Operating as a specialty coffee shop cum takeaway store, KYŌ Kohee sells coffee, matcha, Japanese tea, fresh bakes, and sweet treats.
For coffee, there’s the usual black ($4.50), white ($5.50), espresso ($3.50), and mocha ($6). It also has iced KYŌ coffee ($6.90), which is iced caramelised coffee topped with vanilla whipped cream.
As for matcha flavoured items, there’s the Okumidori Matcha which is available in both straight (no milk, $5.90) and latte ($6.90).

Another matcha item would be the Affogato Ice Cream with Matcha ($6.90), which is vanilla ice cream topped with a shot of KYŌ’s signature ceremonial grade matcha.

If you’d rather something lighter, it also serves authentic Japanese tea such as the Tenbone Hoji Tea ($4.90) and the Sencha Yabukita ($5.90). Both are brewed green tea, the only difference being that the former is made with roasted green tea leaves.

If you’re looking for a quick bite, you can try the croissant-waffle hybrid, or Croffle ($3.90).
KYŌ Kohee is located at 144 Robinson Road, #01-01, Singapore 068908. It is open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, and Saturday, from 8am to 1pm.
