Two new shipping container hotels are now available for bookings at one-north.

The first container boasts a unique mirrored exterior, while the second has a more conventional rusty orange design.

As the entirety of the first container is mirrored except for the front patio, it reflects and blends in with its surroundings – passers-by walking near the hotel from behind may not even notice it.

It can fit four adults and comes with air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, and free wifi and Netflix. It also has king- and queen-sized beds and an extra mattress available at additional cost.

True to its name, the shipping container hotel is made out of a recycled shipping container that was previously used to transport cargo. Due to the metal construction of shipping containers, they are robust and sturdy.

Other than the two container hotels at one-north, there are two more at Haw Par Villa that were built earlier. The first was launched in January 2020.

The two new hotels at one-north can now be booked for staycations here, starting from $250 per night.
