New F&B container park to open at Cosford Road near Changi Airport
The Cosford Container Park will open in the third quarter of this year.
A new 38,000 sq ft F&B container park at 30 Cosford Road near Changi Airport will be opened in the third quarter of this year.
Named Cosford Container Park, it will be home to 13 container units that can be rented for F&B vendors. The container park will also be utilised as a lifestyle, arts and entertainment hub that allows for the “nearby residential community to gather” together at.
Guests can also look forward to features like all-day gourmet dining in both indoor and outdoor seating areas, as well as an outdoor stage area for live music, day parties and sports broadcasts.
An adult fun slide will also be set up in the park.
The seating capacity at the container park is projected to be for over 340 people. Upon opening, Cosford Container Park will operate daily from 11am to 1am on weekdays, and from 8am to 2am on weekends.
According to Tee Tree Investments, the company behind the Cosford Container Park, it will appeal to locals, plane spotting enthusiasts, and tourists looking for “something a little off the beaten track, yet close to their arrival and departure point into and out of Singapore”.
The project will cost over $3 million. Tee Tree Investments is also behind the F&B space, @ Punggol, located at 10 Tebing Lane.
Cosford Road has been marked as a historic site by the National Heritage Board. It was once an area that held heavy artillery equipment during World War II and is also located adjacent to the Johore Battery and close to Changi Airport’s landing strip.
