New day-to-night carnival Central Beach Bazaar to open at Sentosa in September
The carnival will feature attractions like the Sentosa SkyJet, an 80m tall fountain.
An all-day Central Beach Bazaar carnival will open at Siloso Beach in September, featuring a simulation ride experience and a food street.
Organised by the Mount Faber Leisure Group, the Central Beach Bazaar will include new attractions such as the Sentosa SkyJet and a modern rendition of the Sentosa Musical Fountain, Singapore’s most iconic show in the early 1980s.
The Sentosa SkyJet, which is an 80m tall fountain, is located on an open sea platform. It is created to complement the outdoor night shows through choreographed water jets, laser light projections and pyrotechnics.
On the other hand, the Sentosa Musical Fountain attraction will curate two five-minute daytime performances with the songs Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me and Walking on Sunshine, as well as National Day songs such as Home and Count on Me Singapore.
The third attraction, which will be revealed at a later date, will offer simulation ride experiences and carnival games.
Besides the attractions, the International Food Street will feature eight Food and Beverage (F&B) kiosks in food trucks, kombi vans and upcycled shipping containers. The kiosks will house various cuisines inspired by cities such as London, Tokyo and Mexico and are priced below $10.
It will also include Chipper Roll, a British-themed kiosk that serves classic English delights such as lobster rolls, bangers and mash and sausage platters.
Admissions to the Sentosa SkyJet and Sentosa Musical Fountain are complimentary with a minimum spend of $5 per person at the International Food Street.
Central Beach Bazaar will be located at 50 Beach View, Singapore 098604.
