It’s the durian season now and you can now take your love for the king of fruits to the next level – by pairing it with a card game about durians!

Launching later this month by Singapore-based board game publisher Origame, Durian Dash is a family-friendly game that allows up to six players.

The game, which is played over multiple rounds, allows players to visit different plantations in Johor and Pahang to collect their favourite durians such as Mao Shan Wang, Golden Phoenix and Black Pearl.

Each round, action cards will be handed to players and allows them to gather durians and throw the rotten ones away. The game ends when the deck runs out and the player with the most thumbs up wins.

Those who dislike durians can enjoy the game too. When this variant is played, the player with the least Thumbs Up wins.

The game was created by Daryl Chow, who designed local card game such as Chope and Kopi King
