New browser game lets player ‘slap’ Chris Rock
The game has quickly garnered positive reviews from players.
In the aftermath of the 94th Academy Awards ceremony which saw the now infamous altercation between Chris Rock and Will Smith, a new PC browser game, titled Slap Chris has surfaced.
The creator Tyler Hamilton posted a link to the game on his Twitter on Thursday (Mar 28) with the caption “The fastest slaps needs the strongest Wills”.
In the game, players are able to control an emoji of a hand and direct it towards an image of Chris Rock’s face which hangs conspicuously on the right side of the screen.
Once the hand connects with Chris’s face, a mileage counter will display the speed of the slap.
As an April Fools’ prank, the creator has replaced Chris’s face with one of Will beaming, oblivious of what is to come.
However, players do have the option to revert the image back to Chris.
Tyler is known for his satirical games such as Glady Bird, a parody of Flappy Bird which sees former Australian Politician Gladys Berejiklian on a hunt for COVID-19 vaccines.
As for Slap Chris, the fairly straightforward game has earned a few favourable reviews from players on Tyler’s Ko-Fi Page with some even donating money to the game.
