Netflix announces nine new holiday specials for all ages
Get into the festive mood, Christmas has come early this year!
It looks like Christmas has come early to Netflix: The streaming service has announced nine new series, movies and specials that will be released throughout November and December in Singapore.
The lineup is set to be diverse, appealing to all ages this holiday season. Five romantic comedies, three kids’ shows and movies, and one competition game show have been announced.

Some notable titles include Princess Switch 3: Romancing The Star, the third movie in the Princess Switch series that captured our hearts back in 2018. Not a lot is known about the movie yet, but this tweet from Netflix sounds promising. The movie is set to be released on Nov 18.
Another title to keep an eye out for is Love Hard, which will be released on Nov 5. Starring Nina Dobrev, it follows Natalie as she flies across the country to surprise her ‘perfect match’ from a dating app during Christmas… only to find out he’s catfished her. Despite the bleak synopsis, it looks like it’ll be a feel-good comedy for the whole family.
One last show to look out for is School of Chocolate, a competition reality TV show where eight professionals compete to be ‘Best in Class’. Their teacher will be world-famous chocolatier Amaury Guichon, who’s gone viral multiple times for his hyper-realistic chocolate creations. The show will be out on Netflix on Nov 26.
