National Service registration to start Oct 7
It is compulsory for all Singaporean and Singapore PR males born between Apr 1, 2003 and Jun 30, 2003 to register.
The National Service (NS) registration will be conducted from Wednesday (Oct 7) and will run until Oct 27.
All Singaporean and Singapore permanent resident males born between Apr 1, 2003 and Jun 30, 2003 will need to register.
Registration can be done online via www.ns.sg or physically at the Central Manpower Base (CMPB) podium at Depot Road.
During the registration, registrants must choose a date between Nov 23 and Dec 22 for a medical examination. The medical examination will be held at CMPB on that date between 8am and 1pm.
If you plan to apply for a postponement, you can do so online or at CMPB. Successful applicants will receive further notice on when to report for enlistment as well as their medical examination.
Application for postponement must be done after registering for NS but before actually starting it, for the following reasons:
1.Work commitment/New employment
2. Newly established business
3. Full-time studies for first degree and below qualifications
4. Examinations
5. Marriage/Honeymoon
6. Childbirth
