The National Service (NS) registration will be conducted from Wednesday (Nov 4) and will run until Nov 24.

All Singaporean and Singapore permanent resident males born in 2003 between Jul 1 and Sep 30 will need to register.

Registration can be done online via www.ns.sg or physically at the Central Manpower Base (CMPB) podium at Depot Road.

During the registration, registrants must choose a date between Dec 23 and Jan 26, 2021 for a medical examination. The medical examination will be held at CMPB between 8am and 1pm.

If you plan to apply for a postponement, you can do so online or at CMPB. Successful applicants will receive further notice on when to report for enlistment as well as their medical examination.

Application for postponement must be done after registering for NS but before actually starting it, for the following reasons:
1. Work commitment/New employment
2. Newly established business
3. Full-time studies for first degree and below qualifications
4. Examinations
5. Marriage/Honeymoon
6. Childbirth
