The National Service (NS) registration will be conducted from Wednesday (Dec 2) and will run until Dec 22.

All Singaporean and Singapore permanent resident males born between Oct 1, 2003 and Jan 1, 2004 will need to register.

Registration can be done online via or physically at the Central Manpower Base (CMPB) podium at Depot Road.

During the registration, registrants must choose a date between Jan 27, 2021 and Mar 2, 2021 for a medical examination. The medical examination will be held at CMPB on that date between 8am and 1pm.

If you plan to apply for a postponement, you can do so online or at CMPB. Successful applicants will receive further notice on when to report for enlistment as well as their medical examination.

Application for postponement of NS can be done in the period after registration and before commencing it, for the following reasons:

  1. Work commitment/New employment
  2. Newly established business
  3. Full-time studies for first degree and below qualifications
  4. Examinations
  5. Marriage/Honeymoon
  6. Childbirth
