Nanyang Coffee concept cafe Butter Bean launches limited-time pasta, cakes and cookies this Christmas

The festive treats will be available for dine-in, takeaway and delivery till Dec 25.

Nanyang Coffee concept cafe Butter Bean has unveiled new savoury and sweet dishes this Christmas season. 

According to Butter Bean, its new dishes are an inventive take on “Nanyang flavours which is synonymous with the brand”.

This year, foodies can try out new festive dishes which includes Jolly Chicken Parm Pasta, Nuts Over Banana cake, G.M. Pandan Chiffon cake and BB Gingerbread cookies. 

The Jolly Chicken Parm Pasta, is an aglio-olio style pasta with a Nanyang twist. Customers can expect the Al-dente spaghetti noodles to be tossed with curry leaves in a tomato mushroom sauce.

The pasta dish is available in a set with a speciality drink. The set is priced at $12.70 in stores and $15.20 for delivery. 

Those who would like to go for something sweet can try the new cakes.

The Nuts Over Banana cake is made with fresh bananas and comes with butter cream filling. It is also covered in a peanut glaze and diced almonds.

This cake is available at $3.50 per slice and $25 for a whole cake in-stores. Delivery of the cake is priced at $4.20 per slice and $30 for a whole cake.

Another option is the G.M. Pandan Chiffon cake that is drizzled with gula melaka syrup and toasted coconut flakes. It also has a custard whipped cream filling. 

It is available at $3.50 per slice in stores and $4.20 per slice for delivery. The plain whole cake is also for sale in stores at $16.80.

Customers will receive 15 per cent off for any whole cake order placed before Dec 14. They can also get a slice of any cake at $3 with any purchase.

Butter Bean has also come up with the BB Gingerbread cookies that are shaped to look like the brand’s mascot.

The cookies are available at $2.50 per piece and $9 for four pieces in stores. They can also be delivered at $3 per piece and $10.80 for four pieces.

Butter Bean’s dessert French Toasts and toasty beverages are also back for a limited time. 

The Choco-nana French Toast is stuffed with cheese and topped with fresh banana slices and chocolate sauce. The PB & J French Toast will feature a yuletide twist on Butter Bean’s best-selling PB & J Toast that is laced with peanut butter, strawberry jam and fresh strawberries.

Both are available at $5.50 in stores and $6.60 for delivery. 

Customers can also choose to complete their French toast experience with a set meal.

The BBrûlée Cinnamon Kopi and Teh Latte drinks are available as part of the toasty beverages series. The drinks will feature three-layers – fresh milk with cinnamon powder, freshly-brewed Nanyang kopi or red tea, and signature salted cream and caramelised brown sugar.

These drinks start at $4.20 for a regular size in stores. 

On top of these drinks, Butter Bean’s Toasty Cinnamon Teh, Toasty Ginger Teh and Toasty Marsh-Milo have also made a comeback for a limited time.

Those who would like to celebrate this festive season with their loved ones in the comfort of their own homes can now enjoy four delivery bundles that will be up to 25 per cent off the usual price. 

Butter Bean’s Christmas offerings are available for dine-in and takeaway at its Funan, Vivo City and Seletar Mall outlets from now till Dec 25.
