Soya bean food and beverage chain Mr Bean is now halal-certified.

All 64 outlets of the food chain can be found on the list of halal-certified eateries on the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore’s (MUIS) website

In addition to the halal certification, Mr Bean has also launched a line-up of menu specials such as the Pearly Thai Soy Milk ($3.30) and Grass Jelly Thai Tea Soy Milk ($3.30).

Other specials include two varieties of pancakes: the Gula Melaka Pancake ($2.40) and Curry Chicken with Potato Pancake ($2.40).

The menu also offers a healthier version of curry rice with the Soy Curry Chicken with Potato rice bowl ($6.90) that swaps out white rice for whole-grain mixed rice instead.

The menu specials are available for a limited period.
