The collection will feature all 20 drivers across the 10 Formula 1 teams.
Local designer brand Mighty Jaxx have just announced an exclusive multi-year collaboration with Formula 1 over the launch of phygital driver collectibles.
Designed by YARMS studio, the Formula 1 2021 Mighty Allstars Collection will feature the full current grid of drivers, including reigning champion Lewis Hamilton, former world champions Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso, as well as rising stars Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc.
Apart from the standard “collector’s” edition, fans can also opt for the premium editions of the collectibles, designed in exquisite metal and gold brushed accents. The champion and life-sized editions of the season’s top three drivers will be released towards the end of the current season.
Currently, Red Bull’s Verstappen leads the driver standings with 226.5 points, five ahead of Mercedes’ Hamilton.
On top of the collectibles. Mighty Allstars will launch the inaugural BE FIRST campaign, incorporating fan interaction during the race season. Set to debut in October and concluding before the next F1 race season, the campaign will pit F1 fans and collectors alike to make race predictions, moving up the global leaderboard with each correct prediction.
Fans who purchase the driver collectibles will also be able to score even more points for each new driver collectible they authenticate on the Mighty Jaxx app. At the end of the campaign, the top 3 players on the leaderboard will win exclusive signed F1 memorabilia.
The collectibles will cost US$149 (S$201) and you can purchase them on the Mighty Allstars website.
The partnership with F1 is MightyJaxx’s second foray into the world of sports. In June this year, the Singapore company partnered German football club Borussia Dortmund to release figurines of footballers Erling Haaland, Marco Reus and Jadon Sancho.
