Mega Carnival at Downtown East to feature VR simulations, dino-themed attractions

This year’s Mega Carnival organised by Trip.com will feature over 20 stations of unlimited games, rides and activities all for one price. 

The roughly 50,000 sq ft carnival will be held at D’Marquee Downtown East. It will run from Nov 19 to Feb 5, 2023, with Virtual Reality (VR) experiences, dinosaur-themed attractions and more. 

Those who would like to experience an immersive adventure can check out the VR station with four simulations to choose from. 

These include a shooting game, a ski through a picturesque wintery landscape, a motorbike ride and a flight through the universe on a spaceship for an “out of this world” experience.

Looking for an old-school arcade experience instead? The arcade zone allows visitors to join the Daytona race, show off their dance moves and challenge their friends on the LED air hockey game.

Visitors can put their coordination skills and agility to the test by participating in the wheely fun obstacle course and navigating their way through colourful inflatable slides and mazes.

There will also be a ball challenge, hot dip and gladiator attraction for thrill seekers.

The outdoor sheltered section will have an assortment of food items from the food truck. Visitors can also find iconic carnival games and attractions such as the swan pedal and robot navigator as well. 

Dinosaur enthusiasts can look forward to special dinosaur-themed attractions and rides too. There will be dino balls, sand pits, tree slides, merry-go-rounds and even the Viking, saucer rides and a dino egg trampoline to enjoy. 

Visitors can also keep a look out for various photo opportunities such as the dino egg photobooth and the 4m tall, 10m long animatronic dinosaur.

Tickets to the Mega Carnival are priced at $28 for non-peak, which entitles visitors to three and a half hours of play time, and $32 for peak timings, with two and a half hours of play time. 

Tickets purchased by Nov 18 will receive a special early bird discount of 10 per cent on Trip.com.
