The BTS meal in Singapore will only be available via delivery services from Jun 21, McDonald’s Singapore announced.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday (Jun 16), the fast food chain explained that the arrangement was made to prevent the formation of long queues and ensure the safety of customers during the pandemic.

The BTS Meal cannot be purchased from drive-through facilities and in-store. It will only be available for purchase via McDelivery, Grab or FoodPanda.

With the upcoming launch on Monday, McDonald’s is also offering the meal at $8.90, which is 10 per cent off the usual delivery price.

McDonald’s also reassured the safety of its delivery riders and said that safety measures will be in place at their outlets to prevent overcrowding.

The BTS Meal consists of nine-piece Chicken McNuggets, Large World Famous Fries, a drink as well as sweet chili and cajun dipping sauces.

The meal was originally scheduled for release on May 27, but was postponed to Jun 21 due to the rise in COVID-19 community cases.
