From Jul 1 at 11am, the Chicken McCrispy will again become a mainstay on the Mcdonald’s Singapore menu.
It is always a joy to see our favourite food items return after being taken off the menu and soon, McDonald’s fans can rejoice as the legendary Chicken McCrispy gets a permanent spot on the menu once more!
From Jul 1 at 11am, the Chicken McCrispy will be available on the McDonald’s Singapore menu.
The Chicken McCrispy abruptly disappeared from the menu in 2002, to the dismay of some Singaporeans.
The popular fried chicken dish was introduced in 1998 and when it had a brief comeback to selected outlets in November last year, long lines were formed — full of those who wanted to experience the hype as well as those who had fond memories of tucking into the dish.
This time, diners can look forward to items such as the Chicken McCrispy Extra Value Meal (prices start at $8.40), which comes with two pieces of fried chicken, medium fries and a small Coke.
For those with bigger appetites, you can go for the six-piece bucket set (prices start at $18.80), which comes with three thighs and three drumsticks.
Finally, the Chicken McCrispy Value Bundle (prices start at $21.50) comes with six pieces of fried chicken, two medium fries and two small Cokes to satisfy those with a ravenous appetite.
The Chicken McCrispy will be available at all locations islandwide except Shell Tampines, Shell Hougang, Shell Havelock, Clementi Ave 3, Parklane and Tampines Kiosk.
For those who enjoy extra savings (I know I do!), McDonald’s has partnered with Lazada to bring you more to look forward to.
From Jul 1 to 31, McDonald’s will be selling vouchers exclusively on its LazMall store for the Chicken McCrispy Value Bundle. The vouchers entitle you to $1 off the meal.
On Jul 6 only, LazMall will also be selling vouchers giving customers $1 off the Chicken McCrispy Extra Value Meal.
To enjoy the discounts, purchase the vouchers through the Lazada app, and then redeem them at McDonald’s locations using the My McDonald’s App, available on the App Store or Google Play Store.
POSB/DBS credit card holders get an additional $1 off for the Chicken McCrispy Value Bundle.
The Lazada collaboration also includes a limited edition t-shirt and plush toy.
