Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder among 12 new titles premiering on Disney+ for Disney+ Day on Sep 8
Disney will also release Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder.
Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder will premiere on Disney+ on Sep 8 as part of Disney+ Day offerings.
Along with the movie, Disney+ will release Marvel Studios Assembled: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder, which will give viewers a look behind the scenes of the making of Thor’s fourth feature film. It will feature in-depth interviews with the cast and crew, as well as “raw, unseen” footage from the set.
Several other movies and films will also premiere on Disney+ on Sep 8.
These include a documentary on Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return, which will feature never-before-seen, behind-the-scenes footage of the series. It will also include interviews with director Deborah Chew and members of the cast and crew to providing a look into the renowned Star Wars franchise.
Disney will also release a new short from The Simpsons titled Welcome to the Club centred around Lisa Simpson. A new mystery Latin-American original series titled Tierra Incógnita will also make its way to Disney+ on Sep 8.
Families with young children can also look forward to new sing-along versions of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen and Frozen 2 premiering on Disney+ Day.
Some previously announced titles that will make their way to Disney+ include a live rendition of Pinocchio, as well as Marvel comedy series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
The Cars franchise will also make a return in the form of Cars on the Road, a nine-episode series which follows Lightning Mcqueen and Mater embarking on a road trip.
Other previously announced series which are set to premiere on Disney+ Day include coming of age docu-series Growing Up, National Geographic adventure series Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory and action variety series THE ZONE: Survival Mission.
