Marshmello, Westlife, Green Day to perform at the F1 Singapore race this year

The final line-up will include over 75 performances across the whole three-day racing event.

Marshmello, Westlife and Green Day have been unveiled as the performing acts for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2022. 

The three acts, announced by race organiser Singapore GP, will perform over the three-day race weekend at the Zone 4 Padang Stage.

Marshmello will take to the stage on Friday, Sep 30. The Grammy-nominated electronic dance music (EDM) DJ and producer is known for donning a white cylindrical-shaped mask of a smiling face with crossed-out eyes obscuring his entire head. 

Some of his most well-known hits include Wolves featuring Selena Gomez, Happier starring Bastille, and Friends featuring Anne-Marie. He is also the 41st most-streamed artist in the world on Spotify, with almost 40 million monthly listeners.

Westlife will perform on Saturday, Oct 1. The performance is part of the boyband’s The Wild Dreams Tour. 

One of the most successful boybands in world music since it was formed in 1998, Westlife has topped music charts several times with singles such as Uptown Girl, Flying Without Wings, and You Raise Me Up

Legendary American punk group Green Day will wake up when September ends and rock the stage on Sunday, Oct 2.

The five-time Grammy Award-winning band has released numerous chart-toppers such as Basket Case, American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

More acts will be unveiled in the coming weeks to complete the return of Formula 1 to the streets of Singapore after two years. The final line-up is set to have more than 75 performances over the three-day event across eight stages in the Circuit Park, said the event organisers. 

Zone 4 and Premier Walkabout tickets will go on sale from May 24 at 10am.

Prices for Zone 4 Walkabout Friday tickets which provide access to only Zone 4 and the Padang stage begin at S$98, while Premier Walkabout Sunday tickets with access to all four zones and both the Padang and Wharf stages cost up to S$388.

Limited release of single-day grandstand tickets will be available for sale from May 26 at 10am. 

Prices for Bay Grandstand Friday tickets with access to Zone 3, Zone 4 and the Padang stage start at S$98, while tickets for Grandstand Sunday tickets which provide access to all zones and both stages cost up to S$988.
